What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop high-quality software solutions for complex data problems
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers across departments
- Review and debug code while adhering to best practices and design standards
- Research, prototype, and recommend software solutions for client challenges
- Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and properly archived
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-4 years of professional software development/engineering experience
- Experience developing user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React
- Experience developing Python applications, particularly with Flask and Dash
- Comfort working with SQL databases
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Significant experience designing and building APIs
- Experience with query optimization, database administration, analytics databases, and/or NoSQL
- Knowledge of automated software testing and continuous integration
- Proficiency working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with data visualization for the web using D3 or similar tools
