What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule, reschedule, coordinate, and cancel patient appointments
- Input and update accurate patient information in the system
- Communicate accurate and complete information to patients and staff
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and information
- Perform other related duties as assigned in a call center environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic proficiency with computers, preferably Microsoft Office
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- General knowledge of office machines, including printers and scanners
- Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience (Level I) or two (2) years (Level II)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior call center experience
- Experience in registration, billing, or scheduling within a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
