What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule, reschedule, coordinate, and cancel patient appointments in a call center environment
- Input and update accurate patient information to ensure efficient operations
- Answer telephone calls professionally and courteously, demonstrating effective communication skills
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle conflicts positively using effective service recovery skills
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience, preferably in registration, billing, or scheduling within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Intermediate proficiency with computers, particularly the MS Office Suite
- Basic keyboard and telephone etiquette skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with the EPIC system
- Previous call center experience
