What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review assigned business or clinical operations to identify clients' information system needs
- Perform design and analysis assignments for clinical and business information systems
- Inform clients about the implications of information systems changes and available options
- Recommend solutions for necessary applications software delivery, including custom development
- Develop or modify custom applications software, writing programs and designing screen layouts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Current certification(s) or ability to achieve as required by the department
- 0-5 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to work off hours and participate in on-call rotation
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with various programming languages and information systems development
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical clients
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and operations
