What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Patrol grounds and 17+ miles of trails to ensure visitor safety
- Utilize tools for trail maintenance, including hand saws and brush cutters
- Perform erosion control and trail drainage maintenance
- Provide weekend security and care for the Arboretum Visitor Center
- Educate visitors through day-to-day interactions and install trail signage

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must hold a valid driver’s license that meets UW Risk Management standards
- Must be personable, reliable, and able to work independently
- Ability to interact well with Arboretum visitors
- Willingness to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation is required as the Arboretum is not on a bus line

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPR/AED certification preferred, but not required
