What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and process requests for patient health information in compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
- Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards
- Respond to requests for patient records and assist with administrative duties
- Participate in project teams to advance operational strategies as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of health information-related experience
- Ability to travel locally/regionally 75% or more of the time
- Basic computer proficiency and strong data entry skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous production or metric-based work experience
- In-person customer service experience
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers
- Comfortable providing process improvement suggestions to internal stakeholders
