Job Essentials:
- Receive incoming calls from customers and provide superior customer service
- Resolve customer issues on the initial call or provide timely follow-up
- Comply with established criteria for response time, handling time, and call flow
- Stay current on enrollment/billing policies and procedures
- Navigate multiple computer systems with minimal supervision
- Answer questions, take payments, and educate members on billing and payment processes
- Make outbound calls to notify members of delinquent accounts or rate changes
- Help members enroll in the online billing and payment system
- Maintain confidentiality of member's personal information
- Answer questions about eligibility errors and request corrections
- Process routine reports as assigned
- Verify customer qualifications for reinstatement or retro review
- Research routine issues and make suggestions for operational improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of two years of college-level accounting courses or one year of customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills in spreadsheets and word processing software
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of customer service experience
- Three years of accounts receivable or enrollment experience
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with others and communicate information
- Operate computers and office equipment
- See and read computer monitors and documents
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Hourly Range: $18.20 - $26.39
