Job Description
- Req#: 50810
- Assisting Artisans as and when required.
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance schedules to required standards.
- Assisting with modifying of existing plant as well as breakdowns.
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.
- Carrying out other work as allocated by the Mechanical Foreman.
- Adhering to all Engineering and Safety standards.
- Matric plus Full Engineering N2 Certificate (all 4 subjects completed)
- Boilermaking Theory as a subject will be an advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
- One year experience within an Engineering or manufacturing environment.

Sappi Stanger Mill is on the lookout for an artisan assistant to safely perform less complex maintenance tasks and should assist artisans with complex maintenance tasks, thereby contributing to the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
