      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive citywide cultural plan
      - Manage all aspects of the planning process, including stakeholder engagement and consultant selection
      - Facilitate weekly Policy Team meetings and ensure alignment on current policy work
      - Develop equity-aligned performance indicators and evaluation methodologies for ARTS' strategic plan
      - Collaborate with community partners to co-create policies that reflect community priorities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in public policy, sociology, urban planning, arts administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
      - At least 2 years of relevant experience in public policy development or community engagement
      - Proven ability to lead inclusive, cross-sector initiatives and manage large-scale planning projects
      - Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and evaluation frameworks
      - Deep understanding of institutional racism and equity-centered practices

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with Seattle's civic landscape, planning processes, or cultural sector
      - Experience in arts and culture policy or related fields
      - Certifications in racial equity, project management, or evaluation
      - Lived experience in community organizing or advocacy
      - Knowledge of community accountability frameworks
