What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with product owners and development team members to determine features and user stories for application development projects
- Work efficiently in an Agile team environment
- Guide team members in resolving technical issues
- Analyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies
- Provide production support and solve client issues through data analysis and project review
- Assist in support hours of operation and handle production emergencies
- Estimate level of effort for work and change orders
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement best practices
- Participate in internal issue reviews and client calls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of experience in AS400 development
- Strong knowledge of AS400 skills, including RPG, ILE, SYNON, CL DB2, and SQL
- Familiarity with AS400 systems and hardware
- Proficiency in programming languages such as RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, COBOL, and JCL
- Knowledge of LANSA development is a plus
- Preferred experience in the banking and financial industry
