- Responsible for daily operations of the Assembly team.
- Manufacture and pack products as necessary.
- Ensure jobs are prioritized appropriately and completed within a timely manner.
- Participate in set-up, changeover, and shutdown of assembly projects.
- Troubleshoot problems with machinery and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
- Assist in training new employees. Cross-train employees for different tasks and assembly jobs and coach existing employees.
- Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated areas and enforce all safety and quality procedures.
- Effectively communicate and lead employees on the line, and report employee concerns to management or Human Resources.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas.
- Ability to motivate others to meet demands established by the schedule.
- Must be willing to assist in other areas of production as assigned to do so.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Skills relating to leadership, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to execute time management, schedule, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with basic machining and assembly
- Syteline experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing
- Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Picking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions
- Close visual acuity
- Subject to noise, hazards, and oils.
- Lift up to 50 lbs
