What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide actuarial analysis and complex research to support the actuarial function
- Manage assigned projects, ensuring quality of work and timely documentation
- Communicate financial data effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support the development and training of professional staff
- Perform additional job-related duties and special projects as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
- 2+ years of actuarial work experience
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities
- Ability to direct the work of others and assist in their development
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries preferred, but open to applicants with extensive modeling experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of spreadsheet and database software packages, or the ability to learn
