      This is an exciting opportunity to work in the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA). SIRA is responsible for regulating three statutory insurance schemes in NSW.

      This Assistant Advisor role sits within the Insurer Supervision Directorate, under the Motor Accidents Insurance Regulation Division of SIRA.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Confidently interacting with and communicating technical information clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
      • Write and prepare technical material that is well structured and easy to follow.
      • Provide operational support that optimises the Insurer Supervision team’s organisational capability, including the management of the team’s SharePoint sites, shared mailboxes, MS Teams and TRIM sites, and reviewing and updating templates and process documents.
      • Providing a range of secretariat and administrative services including coordinating committee meetings, preparing papers, taking meeting actions, decisions and minutes.
      • Coordination and review of internal registers to a high standard for official records.
      • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned areas, while taking initiative to overcome barriers and progress and deliver on individual work tasks.

      • A fast learner with a high level of Office 365 proficiency (in particular, strong Excel and MS Teams capability), and an ability to pick up new software.
