      Assistant Apparel Production Manager

      Artful Home is looking for a team player, who appreciates what we do, to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting team members in the execution of manufacturing and production styles, working directly with our LA based manufacturing partners as well as global supply chain.

      Responsibilities include:
      • Coordinate and manage the tracking of all PP samples and approvals.
      • Work closely with Design to ensure fabrics/trims, washes, and all pre-production processes are approved for production in a timely manner.
      • Perform daily tracking of WIP and in transit to ensure timely delivery according to development calendar. Maintain WIP, follow up with factories, and distribute status reports weekly.
      • Manage the tracking and ownership of fabric and any excess raw materials.
      • Track all pricing and maintain accurate costing records to ensure margin goals are consistently met.
      • Work with factories to prepare production schedules and cost estimates, issue purchase orders and keep WIP progress up to date.
      • Manage all email communication with factories and suppliers to ensure the standards and on time delivery is maintained.
      • Create, revise and maintain all Purchase Orders for production, transmitting to factories.
      • Manage all invoices and payments to manufacturing processes
      • Manage production shipments, to factories and to internal DC daily
      • Handle all changes to PO's, internal production with contractors, and any changes during the process
      • Manage the wash houses in LA, fabric movement, wash testing and approvals
      Qualifications:
      • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
      • Four (4) plus years of experience in an apparel category preferably with some US production. Import production is a plus.
      • Proven experience in managing production, factories, and the product development cycle.
      • Experience in garment dye and wash, with an emphasis on denim is a plus.
      • Microsoft Excel expertise and knowledge required.
      • Strong knowledge of costing.
