      Job Description

      Assists in providing statistical support to organization and medical research projects. Assists in the design, development and management of databases. Prepares reports for management and medical research projects and submits such reports to senior statistician for review; utilizes computer programs for data management and statistical analyses.

      Job Responsibility

      • Applies statistical methods to assist statistical analysis and information during the course of biological or biomedical research or clinical studies.
      • Assists in providing statistical support to organization and medical research projects.
      • Assists in the design, development and management of databases.
      • Develops data collection methods and techniques, evaluates reliability, organizes results, and prepares conclusions and predictions.
      • Prepares reports for management and medical research projects and submits such reports to senior statistician for review.
      • Utilizes computer programs for data management and statistical analyses; troubleshoots software problems and documents programming activities.
      • Assists in providing data management support; utilizes data collection instruments, data editing and exception reports; enters data into files and ensures the integrity of data.
      • Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.

      Job Qualification

      • Master’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field, required.
      • 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
