      You’ll become a key business partner for Sony, providing the data that drives our decision-making in profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity.

      Reporting to the Branch Controller, you will monitor and analyse financial & accounting information to help the company make well-informed decisions, write reports and monitor accounting movements.

      You will be a partner to European management and will work closely with the Business Groups to implement actions that optimise results for the region, driving continuous improvement in financial planning, and promoting an environment based on trust, teamwork, initiative and innovation.

      You will:

      • Provide financial and analytical support for the accounting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

      • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted and forecasted information.
      • Effective control and monitoring of costs and IT CAPEX activities.
      • Support month-end and year-end processes.
      • Liaise with GISC Service managers where there are significant variances between budget and actuals.
      • Liaise with the central finance team to ensure that accruals, reclassifications and prepayments are booked correctly and on time.
      • Review and ensure that all purchase orders are raised within budget and are using the correct coding
      • Support Billing and Sales processes with different customers in Sony Europe and other Sony entities globally which includes preparing and/or reviewing Master Service Agreements with customers
      • Support in the GISC FTE/HC Analysis Reporting
      • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
      • Train and supervise junior staff members

      You will bring:

      • Good working experience as a finance analyst
      • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required: Proficient in spreadsheets, database management, pivot tables, chart analysis, basic functions, etc
      • Organised, analytical, result and detail-oriented - Strict organisation to keep the team deliverables within the planned deadline.
      • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
      • Experience with SAP R3 and BW is preferable
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Good understanding of IT Costs, IT CAPEX and intercompany transactions
      • Dynamic & proactive
      • University degree or equivalent experience in finance-related subject
