- Processing bi-weekly payroll. Review time and attendance, salaries, gratuities. Monitor employee deductions. Provide payroll-related support to department managers.
- Participate in the fixed asset and lease management processes
- Manage inventory controls for Club Food & Beverage and Merchandise
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assists with job postings and descriptions, and advertising in various media.
- Benefit administration and enrollment
- Maintain employee records
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and Club accounting policies
- Assist with annual audits and other regulatory requirements
- Adhere to internal controls to safeguard Club assets and prevent financial discrepancies
- Work closely with other departments
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- 2-5 years of accounting experience in the hospitality, golf, or Club industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Club accounting software (Northstar preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

About The Position
The Assistant Controller will work with the Controller to manage daily accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance for our private golf Club. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and experience in the hospitality or club industry.
