Job Description
- Req#: 32019
- Equipment Control (Fixed assets and depreciation) and the CAPEX expenditure control approved in the PAR.
- Ensures that fixed assets and depreciation has recorded properly in local and US GAAP books.
- Ensures the CAPEX expenditure is aligned with the purchase orders approved by the plant manager and the controller. Ensure that the CAPEX expenditure complies with the limit approved in the PAR.
- Ensures the Fixed assets process is clearly defined and the process is known by all the plant according the LEAP manual (setup and disposal) and the equipment record is clearly defined and understandable.
- Report the close and forecast, VW, PPR, PSR complying with the divisional deadline
- Comply with the different monthly and quarterly reports (PS / IC inventory / IT quarterly report / Eng & Tooling report…)
- Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with Tunisian and US GAAP.
- Ensure reporting process for both entities (Toller 137 & US entity) as per Toll manufacturing model
- Analyze the material margin and ensure through a sales control the pending amount debited by the customers (preserial, non-serial sales, serial sales, deliveries out of sequence)
- Ensure the current margin is aligned with the prices and cost agreed by each project. Follow-up of sales prices and material cost and correct update in the system.
- Check out the implementation of Purchase savings and CPI.
- Inbound and Outbound freight control.
- Ensures the monthly control of the transport cost (Inbound and Outbound).
- Headcount and direct and indirect cost control: Tracking of weekly headcount vs forecasted headcount to assess any R&O vs the goal.
- Weekly R&O assessment for all the items impacting the results.
- Validate the inventory control and analyze the quality information from the inventory locations with the head of departments (logistics and quality).
- Daily deliveries control. (customer messages) -> Solve on a timely manner any discrepancy found / Credit control (bad debt, payment claim).
- Inventory control: Stock follow up / Cycle counts & action plan -> Ensure that the adjustments are booked once authorized & that the cycle counts & action plan proposed by logistics have a good quality.
- OIP (online improvement plan) follow up: Validation of savings reported by the departments, ensure impact in the results.
- Provides improvement idea to improve department efficiency.
- Improvement in the process, technical issues, data resumes.
- Closing binder integrity
- Month end accounts reconciliation
- SOX Controls & testing
- Strong organizational skills
- 4 to 5 years of experience in the controlling function
- SAP knowledge or similar ERP system
- Good knowledge of in Office tools (Excel) and HFM (reporting system)
- Good analytical vision.
- Good communication skills in both French and English

The mission of the Assistant Controller is to provide support to the Plant Controller with the margin analysis and follow up of different indicators (purchasing savings, plant performance, commercial task,) to achieve plant financial goals. Assistant Controller deals with reporting submission (HFM close, forecast, budget) and fulfill several reports (Quarterly reports…) and must ensure the compliance with internal control and SOX requirements.
