Support and coordinate the global financial close process for the business unit. Includes consolidation of numerous global entities in multiple currencies.

Drive balance sheet and P&L forecasting and assist BU Controller with diligencing the forecast including willingness and ability to take a stand to ensure the integrity of the forecast.

Manage audits of business units’ financials, as well as internal and external audit requirements and US Sarbanes Oxley-404 (SOX) testing and compliance. Owns quarterly review of all SOX controls.

Coordinates the collection and consolidation of all cash forecasting information. Facilitates global daily sales and orders reporting and weekly forecast business review. Analyzes sales and profits versus budget and forecast, identifying trends and drivers.

Owns monthly management reporting and analysis package and drives the standardization of reporting metrics across the organization. Includes monthly reporting into corporate and adhering to defined close schedule. Key participant in quarterly reporting meetings and preparation of financial packages for Corporate FP&A.

Works in partnership with business leaders to analyze key business performance metrics. Provides decision support and predictive analysis.

Provides support on all M&A related activity, including development of models, business forecasts and trend analysis to support these opportunities, as needed.

Reviews all major capital projects for economic justification.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

Minimum of six to eight years of professional work experience in accounting or finance functions. Experience at a public accounting firm a plus.

Superior analytical and financial modeling capabilities with an emphasis on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with robust ERP system and Hyperion reporting. Strong Excel skills a must.

Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage staff and develop talent.
Your Impact:
The Assistant Controller is a strategic business partner to the BU Controller and leadership team, and assists in planning, coordinating and administering the accounting activities and financial operations to meet the Corporation’s objectives, including recording and reporting financial results and ensuring strong internal controls.
In this role, you will analyze all aspects of operations including manufacturing and cost performance, cash flow, deviations in operating results from prior year and plan, and helps formulate insightful financial analysis. You will be a partner to line managers in the operation to drive the financial planning process and “get underneath” the numbers. You will also act as a key partner with BU Controller in maintaining the company's financial, management and compliance reporting functions.
