      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency

      • Respond to property and corporate team inquiries promptly

      • Drive process improvements to enhance workflows and reduce manual work

      • Monitor portfolio cash flow and coordinate funding as needed

      • Manage banking activities: ACHs, positive pay exceptions, and stop payments

      • Review financial statements and provide variance analysis

      • Approve balance sheet reconciliations

      • Lead the annual budget process

      • Ensure timely and accurate property tax payments

      • Oversee preparation of lender reports and submissions

      • Manage 1099 processing and filing

      • Support special projects and initiatives

      SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

      • 5+ years of accounting experience in real estate/multifamily

      • CPA and public accounting background a plus

      • Experience managing and mentoring accounting teams

      • Proficiency with Yardi required

      • Advanced Excel skills, including import templates for payables and journal entries

      • Strong time management and prioritization abilities

      • Clear, professional communication skills

      • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement focus

      • Able to work independently and resolve issues

      • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism

      Compensation:
      $120,000 per year
