      Job Overview

      The Assistant Director, ASQ Support leads the ASQ Response Center. The Response Center Team responds to basic inquiries to ASQ teams in Degree Planning and Registrar's Office via phone, email, chat, CRM, and other channels and escalates as appropriate to other teams for resolution.

      Primary Duties
      • Manage a team responsible for responding to inquiries to Degree Planning and Registrar's Office via email, phone, chat, CRM, and other channels. 25%
      • Manage daily operations by tracking workforce metrics such as tasks, phone queues, service levels, queries, and schedule adherence. 25%
      • Create and review workforce metrics and take action to address performance gaps, prioritize work, or adjust staff schedules to ensure daily work is completed and service levels are met. 10%
      • Seek to provide same-day resolution for any escalated issue through collaboration with other leaders and staff within ASQ. 10%
      • Develop reports and recommendations for opportunities for service improvement based on the frequency and nature of inquiries. Creating consistent messaging for students and staff by ensuring that communications are student-centric, clear, and updated as changes in policies or business processes occur. 10%
      • Provide direct engagement by responding to inquiries in support of the team as needed. 20%


      Required Education and Experience
      • 4-year college degree
      • 3 to 5 years of Customer service experience in a virtual environment
      • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience


      Preferred Education and Experience
      • Master's or other post-graduate education
      • 5 to 7 years of Customer service experience in a virtual environment
      • 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience in a customer service environment


      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
      • Experience using PeopleSoft, SalesForce, or OnBase.
      • Experience coaching and managing teams.
