What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the Director on set by identifying key story arcs, standout moments, and emotional beats
- Take detailed notes during filming to track essential narrative elements and pivots
- Build Version 1 (v1) cuts from raw footage to shape the initial story
- Apply basic editing skills to structure rough cuts or prepare footage for post-production
- Collaborate closely with editors and producers to establish a strong storytelling foundation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong storytelling ability with a clear understanding of basic storytelling frameworks
- Basic editing experience using tools like Adobe Premiere or similar software
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in high-energy production settings
- Ability to be on set regularly and work closely with the Director and crew
- Proactive mindset with a focus on enhancing storytelling
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a YouTube or digital content environment
- Familiarity with gaming or challenge-style content
- Strong visual instinct and ability to think like an editor on set
