      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Plan, coordinate, and supervise laboratory functions including testing, staffing, training, and scheduling
      - Maintain working relationships with hospital administration, other laboratories, nursing services, and physicians
      - Ensure services are of the best quality, cost-contained, and carried out in an expeditious manner
      - Assure section meets all regulatory requirements (CAP, AABB, JCAHO, CLIA, etc.)
      - Assist in evaluating employees using laboratory and hospital guidelines and policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
      - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
      - MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required
      - Strong leadership and communication skills
      - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance principles

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in supervisory or managerial role in a laboratory setting
      - Master's degree in Medical Technology or related field
      - Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records
