What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research potential new event venues and vendors
- Liaise with venues and vendors to ensure smooth event execution
- Manage event deadlines, timelines, and deliverables
- Oversee event staff and the overall flow of events from setup to tear down
- Provide post-event analysis and budget recaps to enhance future planning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of professional experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a corporate or nonprofit setting
- Proven experience managing teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments
- Strong communicator, decision-maker, and strategic thinker
- Proficiency in event management software and productivity platforms (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage several projects concurrently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Experience organizing events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale galas
