What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organization
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and grants administration
- Analyze financial data and present accurate financial reports to senior leadership
- Manage compliance reporting and coordinate audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Auditing Standards (GAS)
- Minimum of 3 years of charter school finance experience preferred
- Outstanding leadership and management skills with a focus on collaboration and accountability
- Strong writing ability and capacity for stakeholder engagement

- Up-to-date knowledge of nonprofit audit best practices and state and federal laws regarding nonprofit operations
- Experience working in both rural and urban communities
- Proven ability to manage conflict and promote collaboration within teams
