      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee the Engineering Division's $7.4 million operating budget and $296 million Capital Investment Program (CIP)
      - Collaborate with executive leadership to implement strategic plans and policies for utilities
      - Lead the development and execution of key utility system planning efforts
      - Foster partnerships with city colleagues and external agencies to support integrated service delivery
      - Champion a welcoming and inclusive community through effective leadership and communication

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental studies, water resources management, construction management, or related field; MS preferred
      - Eight or more years of managerial and administrative experience in public utilities systems
      - Ten years of experience in developing and delivering Capital Investment Programs, including municipal utility project management
      - Knowledge of utility operations, maintenance, planning, and public works contracting regulations
      - Washington State Professional Civil Engineering license required at time of hire or within one year
