What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and prosecute cases on the Criminal List and Miscellaneous List
- Conduct pre-arrest investigations and handle emergency matters
- Respond to inquiries from citizens, victims, and law enforcement personnel
- Enforce probation and parole violations as necessary
- Coordinate with other prosecution offices and adhere to office policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Pennsylvania Attorney's License
- Three years of job-related experience (two years for District Attorney Office)
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a public defender's office or similar role in the public/private sector
- Ability to write clearly and concisely under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of court policy and Chester County policies and procedures
- Affiliation with the Bar Association
- Strong time management skills and flexibility
