      About the Role

      We are looking for an Assistant Event Manager who is a self-starter and will support and work with the Events Division Operations Team to ensure the smooth coordination of our events portfolio. We don't want just anybody, we want the best.       ( The definitive position title and internal corporate level will be established through a sequence of interviews and assessments )

      Responsibilities

      • Tracking Deadlines
      • Creating events within Cvent & pulling reports from system
      • Daily excel usage (filtering, sorting, merging) & data entry
      • Proofing & editing event material
      • Coordinating/communicating with all event vendors, sponsors, speakers, and attendees
      • Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
      • Develop excellent quality content
      • Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

      Required Competencies

      • 4-6 Years of previous Experience with Events Management
      • Cvent knowledge Preferred
      • Excel Familiarity (Basic Sorting, Filtering etc.)
      • Creative Spirit
      • Qualitative Research Skills - How & Why
      • Deadline Driven
      • Multi-tasker
      • Personable- Must be comfortable & have experience working with c-suite individuals
      • Hard worker, not afraid of long hours approaching deadlines
      • Freely gives and receives feedback
      • Ability To Travel (4-7 weeks per year, must be willing to be away for up to 1 week at a time for some events)
      • Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
      • Take ownership to work independently
      • Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
      • Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards
      • Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
