      JOB DESCRIPTION

      Managing Dockers Denim/Non-Denim Business Pakistan source base fabric business. Also managing piece dyed business of LSS/dEN and red tab.

      Managing fabric planning and liability for Pakistan source base which is 41% of all fabric requirements of LS&Co brands.

      Managing Production:

      • Ontime production execution
      • Post production /issue resolution
      • Working as a liaison between Pakistani mills and regional SSM’s.
      • Collection & Analysis of data related to mills productions and shipments.
      • Maintenance and correspondence on color standards.
      • Conducting Visual Color audits
      • Comprehensive monitoring and capacity management of Brands production volumes at mills.

      Managing Planning:

      • Booking fabric/ raw materials as per brand’s needs.
      • Ensuring deliveries offered by mills are as per committed lead-times and brand requirements.
      • Utilization of booked fabrics as per plan.
      • Reduction/cancellation of fabrics as per requirements.

      Working on Developments:

      • Developments related to seasonal briefs, brand initiated yarn up developments.
      • Counter source developments for cost benefits.
      • Product lifecycle developments on existing products to extend programs.

      Assisting Manager in Pricing:

      • Keeping a track of cotton prices.
      • Suggesting optimum time for fabric negotiations.
      • Keeping a track of previous prices and corelating them with cotton prices.
      • Corelating fabric volumes with prices for optimum pricing.

      Managing Control Tools:

      • Color approvals procedures
      • Evaluating Lab Dips
      • Bulk approvals procedures
      • Data Color Warehouse

      Managing Liabilities:

      • Resolution of liabilities to best advantage of brand.
      • Tracking production and forecasts for co-relation and reduction to avoid liability creation.
      • Negotiating best price for liabilities with mills at the time of writeoff.
      • Recommendation of liabilities for alternate consumption. (Like offering to LSPL and other affiliates)
      • Keeping a track that liabilities are used before any additional orders are placed.

      Educating mills, ensuring updates and issue resolution in Planning Tools, Reporting Documents and Tracking Systems:

      • RFQ
      • FCT
      • GLL
      • KPI Sheets
      • Monthly Forecasts
      • Lab Reports

      CANDIDATE PROFILE:

      Education:

      MBA Marketing /Textile Degree

      Experience:

      12-15 years of experience mostly in textiles.

      Having firsthand experience working at a dye house and technical learning in collaboration with teams across all functions of a production facility. Working with internal teams for business executions and external customers for business growth and deliverance including pricing.

      Best Practices: Collaborating with teams within the brand and managing source base of mills to produce best results for the brand.

      Domain Skills:

      In depth knowledge and technical understanding of denim and non-denim fabrics and processes.

      Strong ability to support and be an integral part of different teams to produce desired results within and outside the organization.
