What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft and review standard legal forms and transactional contracts
- Provide legal guidance on employment issues and compliance matters
- Analyze complex legal problems and offer practical solutions
- Support litigation management and dispute resolution efforts
- Conduct internal compliance audits and assist in policy development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD from an accredited law school
- Seven to twelve years of relevant experience, ideally within a General Counsel office
- Extensive knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working within a large sophisticated internal legal group
- Knowledge of ethical rules and regulations related to legal practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
