What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft standard legal forms and assist in contract negotiations
- Provide legal guidance on employment issues and regulatory compliance
- Analyze complex legal problems and offer practical solutions to mitigate risks
- Support litigation management and dispute resolution efforts
- Conduct internal compliance audits and develop compliance programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD from an accredited law school
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in labor and employment law
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working within a General Counsel office
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ethical rules and regulations in a legal context
