What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee limited partnership fund investments in private equity and credit funds, including document review and negotiation
- Advise the investment team on amendment and consent requests for investments
- Lead non-control equity co-investments in sponsor-backed portfolio companies
- Draft and negotiate private fund vendor agreements and placement agent agreements
- Assist in the formation of proprietary funds, including drafting PPMs and limited partnership agreements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5 to 8 years of experience focused on private funds; in-house investment firm experience preferred
- JD Degree required
- Admitted to practice in New York
- In-depth understanding of the Investment Advisers Act; experience with the Investment Company Act is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills

- Experience with registered alternatives funds and private credit
- Recognized as a subject matter expert on private investment funds
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of process building and recommending improvements
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
