      Summary

      Brandywine Realty Trust, a premier full service publicly traded (NYSE: BDN) real estate company with operations nationwide, has an immediate opening for an Assistant General Manager, Residential/Multifamily. This role is responsible for supporting the daily operations, resident satisfaction, and leasing/marketing efforts for the property. This position requires a confident, customer-centric professional who can wear many hats, contribute creatively to marketing, and step up as a leader when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized, financially savvy, and capable of fostering a thriving community culture while supporting business goals.

      Responsbilities


      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Accurately collect and post rent payments, handle delinquencies, and support month-end reporting.
      • Assist with negotiating service contracts, including bidding, awarding, and managing building contracts and ensuring that suppliers/service providers are meeting contractual obligations
      • Process invoices and manage vendor records/contracts with a focus on reviewing and limiting expense overages
      • Assist with preparing budgets, variance reports, and financial forecasts.
      • Oversee and participate in resident communications, negotiations, and other efforts to facilitate strong renewal leasing and resident retention.
      • Support maintenance staff to ensure timely and high-quality repairs to any issue affecting building operations or systems
      • Assist with the management of residential move in/move out process, ensuring a high-quality customer experience fitting a luxury residential property
      • Ensure all resident issues and complaints are addressed and subsequently managed in a manner typical for a luxury residential property
      • Ensure timely and accurate communication regarding the property with residents, staff, vendors, ownership, and any other stakeholders
      • Assist with overseeing apartment improvement construction projects and capital improvements as required.
      • Oversee and support resident and commercial tenant events in Amenity areas and other common areas as needed

      Additional Responsibilities:

      • Oversee property operations, leasing, and maintenance in the absence of General Manager
      • Assist with other various property management tasks as needed.
      • Assist with inventory management and unit turnover process as needed.
      • Assist with other marketing efforts both in person and online/other forms of media.

      Qualifications

      • Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential leasing, sales, or property management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
      • Experience with luxury multifamily rentals is preferred.
      • Experience with student housing rentals is a plus.
      • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing goals and driving team performance in a multifamily or residential setting.
      • Comfortable use of property management and leasing software (Entrata Experience a plus).
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is preferred.
      • Knowledge of and adherence to all federal, state and local laws

      • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and a varied full-time schedule as needed.
      • Individuals should be flexible and self-motivated and have the capacity to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

      Physical Requirements – Per OSHA

      • This position may require specific abilities including reading a computer at close vision and depth perception.
      • May be required to sit and/or stand for long periods.
      • Some travel may be required to other locations.
