- Keeper and tracker of all Production Procedures. Update procedures in software on a continuous basis and prepare MOC’s as required.
- Maintain a central file system for department’s records.
- Create requisitions on SAP to purchase office supplies or services for department.
- Complete VIMs in SAP in timely manner.
- Order Monthly Lab Supplies online and in SAP.
- Order chemicals and track delivery dates of shipments.
- Order Frac Tanks and other supplies as needed.
- Issue/track Procedure MOC’s until complete.
- Create Sales Orders and Bill of Lading along with Tracking incoming and outgoing shipments for assigned products.
- Assist Customer Representatives in daily workload as needed; such as for handling product movements. Prepare and distribute monthly shipment close data for local and Houston personnel.
- Aid in scheduling/organizing/helping immediate supervisor with tasks to meet deadlines.
- Create and maintain all operator log forms and track for ISO standards.
- Create Safety Meeting Weekly Material and distribute to Shift Supervisors, as needed.
- Schedule Meetings as needed.
- Assist Environmental Dept. with scheduling of waste shipments at specific sites, as needed.
- Must be able to work in a pressured environment with rigid deadlines, and be willing to work overtime when required.
- Participate in all necessary audits as required.
- Maintain required ISO documents and produce for review during plant internal and periodic surveillance ISO audits.
- Serve as department SME for the EDMS system for creating and managing documents and changes.
- Act as backup for the other logistics technicians during illness, vacation, or other absences, as needed.
- Work with supervisor to maintain DOT qualifications.

- A current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required.
- High School graduate
- One year additional education in business clerical work experience
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, SAP, Outlook
- Successful candidates must satisfy background screening, including motor vehicle record screening, drug testing & pre-employment physical requirements before starting work.

SUMMARY
Provides secretarial and administrative assistance for the Styrene and Petro OSBL Production Units. This position is responsible for the truck hazardous material shipments of toluene and co-products materials from the Lake Charles Petrochemical plant. This is a plant DOT covered job and is therefore subject to all DOT program requirements including random drug screening.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job is performed mainly in a control room or office setting. Physical presence and predictable attendance required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires response to audible emergency alarms inside of the plant. Employee must be able to evacuate when required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
