      About the Role


      As an Assistant Manager, KYC Onboarding in our Institutional Operations team, you’ll play a key role in managing the client onboarding end to end process for Institutional and Markets clients on behalf of front office staff with minimal guidance and provide expertise decision making on process and product requirements. This role is responsible for supporting all institutional products KYC and onboarding requiring technical and compliance skills and know how. This is a critical role in supporting the significant growth agenda in ANZ US

      What will your day look like?


      As a Assistant Manager, KYC Onboarding you will be responsible to;

      • Manage the customer and front office (trading/sales/relationship managers) expectations when onboarding the customer

      • Be collaborative and build relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication across all teams

      • Run weekly onboarding meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss client pipeline and statuses

      • Provide management information reports for clients on-boarded

      • An SME with technical expertise on complex KYC, OTC regulatory data and SDI/SSI details and thorough understanding of the implications on the end-to-end process, risk, reputation, and financial impact to ANZ

      • Take ownership to drive and coordinate local/regional/global initiatives to improve knowledge, processes, relationships.

      • Identify any automation opportunities within Pre-Trade Services for key processes

      • Have accountability for clients onboarded and ensure ANZ is not exposed to AML risk

      • Work closely with Compliance on policy implementation and advise on best practices

      • Participate and provide artefacts were requested in audits/ key control testing

      What will you bring?

      To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

      • Knowledge of KYC/AML processes

      • Previous experience in Banking & Finance industry for a number of years

      • Knowledge of counterparty credit & legal processes, markets products

      • Strong experience in Onboarding across institutional clients

      • Knowledge of market trends and regulations

      • Experience in customer servicing & project management

      Compensation and Benefits


      The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000

      This range is determined by the job, location and level of expertise required for this specific role. The final salary offered will consider your capabilities, skills and knowledge.
