      The Dog Stop® is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager with dog care, restaurant or retail experience. Knowledge of the dog care industry is a plus but not required. We do require a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing a safe and exciting experience for the dogs in our care, an unparalleled experience for our pert parents and a love of all dogs.

      Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

      • Ensures the safety and happiness of the dogs in our care
      • Supports a culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, sales growth and retention that invites feedback and participation
      • A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to go beyond what is expected, using learnings and improvements to drive action, exceed goals and solve challenges head on
      • Effective merchandising of retail products
      • Monthly inventory and ordering of product
      • Developing and maintaining great customer relationships
      • Conduct new customer tours of the facility
      • Management of customer database
      • Team management and accountability
      • Lead location events for the dogs

      Necessary Qualifications:

      • 2 years' experience in management
      • Excellent communications skills
      • Basic computer skills
      • Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends/holidays/evenings
