Job Description

- Hands on experience in relevant API standards (API611, API612, API614, API617, API670, API672, API692) for Turbo compressor machines.
- Familiar with ASME, IS, TEMA, HEI etc standards…etc related to Compressor package engineering.
- Provide inputs for preparing GAs, FDs, PIDs for Turbo compressor aligning to customer specification & pre-bid agreement.
- Prepare Technical Data Sheets for equipment, Control narration, Cause-effect Diagram.
- Familiar with overall knowledge of various applications of process.
- Experience for making Technical specification / MR for package items related to compressors e.g. Main drive motor, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Oil System & its components, Seal system & its components, Process Control valves etc.
- Knowledge of C&I, electrical related to safe area and hazardous area specs and execution would be an added advantage.
- Responsible for reviewing the Fabrication drawings before releasing to vendor for fabrication.
- Responsible for the project engineering; by understanding the various specifications and thus completion within the stipulated period.
- Involve making standard operating procedures as required for project aligning with quality team.
- Responsible for making test set-up procedure for complete unit test as required for project.
- Frame up technical aspects of the quality assurance plan and inspection & test plan.
- Involving actively in the technical negotiations with the vendors.
- Involve in Pre-inspection meeting with customer along with Quality team, lead the discussion to conclude the test requirement for package as required.
- Experience of leading HAZOP/ SIL/ Model review for process compressors or rotary machines.
- Responsible for getting approval from customer on Project documents.
- Responsible for the project management & control ensuring closure on time & withing given budget.
- Responsible for making project schedule aligning to customer delivery date & monitoring the project through out its cycle.
- Any deviation from defined project schedule you should be responsible to get the project back on track.
- Any deviation with budget shall be addressed to management & should propose the mitigation plan to make sure proposed GP is maintaining.
- To meet organizational goals towards delivery efficiency, quality and cost.
- Streamline all Engineering related business processes in the ERP system (SAP / 3D Enovia).
- Responsible for the project database for the future reference.
- Knowledge of project commercials related to imports / exports like customs rules, deemed exports, duty free imports, supplies to SEZ, EPCG licenses…etc, local taxes and duties.
- Knowledge of handling free issue materials for the purpose of value addition.
- Knowing the vendor base related to project type business…local and global is added advantage.
- Control on communication with internal functions like other service providers and external agencies like consultant, vendors, TP inspection agencies, customers.
- Spontaneous support to packaging and aftermarket functions…like project and site documentation, help creation of part numbers, item description, other relevant information related to e-BOM, m-BOM and a-BOM
- Responsible for the pre-post GPs, prime project receivables and other project liabilities like retrieval of BGs, C / E1-forms etc…
- Should be familiar with CE/ EAC/ ATEX requirement for equipment.
- Support to Application, Sales & marketing in terms of giving feedback.
- Willingness to travel to customer / vendor for meetings.
- 6-8 experience in engineered products engineering/ project management/manufacturing/packaging and procurement.
- You are expected to have a proven leadership skill.
- Experience in SAP / 3D Enovia system.
- Product and packaging knowledge, skills in Turbo-Compressors would be preferred.
- Experience of having worked on Rotary machines will be a definite advantage.
- You should have a technical Degree from a recognized University or equivalent, in Mechanical, Instrumentation, electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Good command of English communication.
- Familiar with MS Office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, capable of working independently.
- Excellent result-oriented leadership, strong but flexible personality, ability to create and maintain a good communication in all levels
