Job Summary : Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operational Supply Distribution activities. Oversee all material resource activities involved in the planning, replenishment, distribution, storing and managing inventory in all med surg areas needed to support patient care. Determines, coordinates, and supervises staffing levels and assignments, while defining the standards for all personnel engaged in performing supply distribution functions. Coordinate and manage all processes related to receiving, distribution of stock and non-stock supplies to each department, including par stocking supplies in designated departments, receiving non-stock items for delivery direct to each department, distribution of medical equipment and procurement of specialty patient supplies. Support data management and supply charging process to ensure accurate information. Review supply utilization, cost analytics, and purchased services cost with procurement, key stakeholders, and leadership to enhance decision-making.
Qualifications : Minimum of High School Diploma required. 2-year associate degree with 2-4 years of experience or 4-year degree with 1-3 years of experience in materials management, supply distribution, inventory management, surgical services, or value analysis experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills, along with strong interpersonal, financial, and planning skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills required. Computer skills including Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to learn departmental and organizational programs, including Net learning, Position Manager, Quantros, Allscripts, Decisions, and Kronos. Initiative/problem solving skills required to manage and foster a team environment. Ability to teach and train staff effectively to achieve high performing individuals using standard work. Available to work any shift including weekend and holidays when needed
