      Position Overview:
      The Assistant Merchandiser is a professional member of the Merchandising team and reports to the Manager of Merchandising. This is an exempt, salaried position whose primary responsibility is to aid in the execution of merchandising product strategies and assortment plans, resulting in exciting and timely product assortments that will maximize sales, profits and support overall brand positioning.

      Responsibilities:

      • Primary owner & communicator of all Item systematic entry
      • Execute assortment documentation as required by each Collection. Including:
        • Assortment sheet creation and maintenance
        • SKU setup and maintenance
        • Retail pricing evaluation and entry
      • Assist in go-to-market preparation for all jewelry categories, including calendar management, launch document content creation and marketing tools management.
      • Communicate and distribute all critical merchandising information to key functional areas on a timely basis
      • Focus on developing customer intimacy skills through regular store visits and competitive shopping with Merchandising team; present findings and trend analysis to inform execution strategies
      • Generate and share weekly reports within Merchandising, Planning and Allocation teams to include actionable takeaways and risk/opportunity assessment from a trend, financial and brand perspective
      • Help build and execute daily and weekly priorities with consistent delivery

      Our Ideal Candidate will have:
      • 1-3 years of experience in retail merchandising or related field required
      • 4 Year College degree required; B.S Degree in Retail Merchandising preferred
      • Champion for product, brand and customer in all cross-functional initiatives and plans
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, able to prioritize, plan and execute flawlessly
      • Highly organized, detail oriented and accurate
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Seeks and is open to feedback from peers and managers
