      We are one of the largest UK-based wealth management firm, headquartered in London but with offices around the country. We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long term goals by offering our expertise in investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services. We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, as well as having our own in house investment team.

      Key responsibilities

      • To deliver outstanding client service;
      • To fully understand and document the client’s inter-family relationships, individual circumstances, long-term plan, risk profile, investment objectives, specific restrictions and resulting mandates;
      • To support Managers/Directors, in managing client relationships to include effective coordination across internal and external specialist advisers to meet client needs;
      • Where appropriate, take responsibility for the creation of client review meeting packs and other client-facing reporting, including organising and sending out regular valuations with accompanying letter;
      • Develop a good understanding of Schroders/Cazenove Capital’s capabilities as well as the wider Schroders Family Office Service proposition and their appropriateness for individual clients;
      • Exhibit awareness of markets, investment strategy, process, portfolio construction, models and underlying investments in order to help respond to client queries;
      • Be an additional point of contact when Directors and Managers are not available or are busy and, therefore, to develop a relationship of trust with the clients and their advisers;
      • Help Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Directors achieve projects such as ‘suitability’ in a timely fashion each year;
      • Work closely with the team’s Client Service Executives and handle other administrative duties in a timely manner. This would include new client take-on forms, Strategic Asset Allocation Comparisons, Client Cash Flow Projections, performance calculations, and assist in proposal preparation, and general demands of advisers;
      • To react to all client and adviser administrative requests in a timely manner liaising where necessary with appropriate operational departments and maintain a record of responses;
      • Where applicable, support with the execution of trades in client portfolios in line with appropriate mandates, check bargains, monitor outstanding deals and report/monitor errors;
      • Daily review and action of client breach alert system;
      • To maintain spreadsheets for large family groups/individual clients and for the team database;
      • Maintain key product and team statistics such as business development activity;
      • Help instruct the transfer team regarding stock transfers between portfolios and to/from external managers for clients transferring in/out;
      • Responsible for ensuring payments are arranged in a timely manner ensuring compliance with Cazenove Capital regulations re fax/email indemnity and mandated information. Liaise with the fund managers to ensure sufficient cash on account to meet client requirements;
      • Help maintain regular contact with clients including the co-ordination of explanatory mailshots;
      • To ensure that clients are treated fairly.

      The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
      • Excellent IT skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite
      • A keen interest in the wealth management industry
      • An interest in global financial news and markets
      • Excellent communication skills and an ability to multi-task
