    • Monitor and address student academic performance, attendance and behavior for a caseload of students
    • Serve as a facilitator for the school’s MTSS teams
    • Oversee Tier II and Tier III Interventions
    • Serve as a member of the school’s administrative and leadership teams, and other committees as assigned by the principal
    • Coordinate and support the instructional leadership of assigned academic departments by collaborating with department chairs
    • Conduct teacher and support staff evaluations
    • Prepare and conduct safety drills and serve as a key point of contact for safety operations
    • Supervise after-school extracurricular events
    • Assist the principal in the day-to-day operations of the school
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License with an administrative endorsement or be enrolled in a program that will result in endorsement prior to August 2025
    • Able to meet the requirements as a PERA-qualified evaluator by August 2025
    • Demonstrate a commitment to student achievement and school improvement
    • Understand how to work collaboratively to set goals and produce results

      District 211 is seeking educators for a 12-month assistant principal position

      Primary Duties
      • Monitor and address student academic performance, attendance and behavior for a caseload of students
      • Serve as a facilitator for the school’s MTSS teams

      Qualifications for District 211 Assistant Principal Applicants
      District 211 is seeking candidates who:
