    • demonstrates student-centered leadership
    • has experience in supporting positive school climate and culture
    • evidences a strong work ethic and high energy level
    • possesses proven ability to evaluate teachers, staff and programs for optimal effectiveness
    • demonstrates a high level of visibility in the school and wider school community, in both during and in after-school events
    • has experiences in implementing an effective Response to Intervention (RtI) model
    • understands needs and laws pertaining to students with disabilities
    • has the ability to lead the district vision and build an environment of continuous improvement.
    • Masters Degree or higher in Educational Administration
    • Valid State of Ohio administrative licensure
    • Experience in classroom, experience in administration preferred
    • The Big Walnut Local School District seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as Big Walnut Middle School Assistant Principal. This is a 220-day position beginning the 2024.2025 school year with administrative benefits.

      Specifically, in addition to effective managerial skills, we seek a candidate who:
