      The Division of Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science (PEMaCS) at Delaware State University (DSU) is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level.

      The successful applicant will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate computer science theory courses, as well as CS/IT introductory courses. The individual will also be expected to actively apply for external funding for research and educational activities. To engage students in various levels of design modelling challenge projects and competitions. Advise students. Perform service on university, departmental and community committee. M aintain an active research agenda that engages undergraduate students.


      The applicant must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or computer science from an accredited institution and appropriate institution and appropriate experience in, or proven potential for teaching. This position is open to candidates who research interests are in the emerging areas of data science. The successful candidate must have completed their Ph.D. y the August 2022 start date.

      2. DSU - AAUP CBA requirements, especially chapters VII, VII, XI
