What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver high-quality online instruction and engage learners effectively in course materials
- Mentor doctoral students and guide them through dissertation and capstone processes
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement of course offerings
- Contribute to school governance and serve on university committees
- Engage in professional service and stay current in scholarly fields through research and networking
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in a related field such as EdD, PhD, or DNP required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
- Two or more years of teaching experience in higher education, specifically in an online setting
- Proven experience in curriculum writing and course development
- Active unencumbered current license as a Registered Nurse required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience presenting at professional conferences on a national or local level
- Familiarity with scholarly writing and APA 7th edition
- Membership in an educational leadership organization
- Demonstrated commitment to service and practice in educational leadership
- Experience with integrating science in nursing education
