What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach graduate courses online in School Counseling and the 8 core CACREP content areas
- Supervise practicum and internship students in an online format
- Participate in online departmental meetings to foster collegial engagement
- Attend program, department, college, and university committee meetings
- Ensure a commitment to serving diverse human and social needs through teaching
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Earned doctorate in Counseling or Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program
- Prior work or internship experience in school counseling or clinical mental health counseling
- Evidence of successful college teaching experience, particularly in online education
- Professional identity within the counseling profession through membership in relevant organizations
- License eligible as a school counselor or Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of residence
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Specialization and licensure in School Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Familiarity with the operational functions of school systems
