What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach Introduction to Lawyering classes, developing major writing assignments and providing feedback
- Conduct individual and joint conferences with students to discuss assignments and skills exercises
- Attend faculty meetings to prepare for classes and activities
- Collaborate with Lawyering faculty to create and revise class exercises
- Teach sessions at the Introduction to Lawyering Day during law school orientation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor Degree
- 3-5 years of practice experience
- Excellent academic records
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Stellar legal writing, interpersonal, and practice skills
- Teaching experience
- Experience in higher education
