What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain a high-quality research program in the area of science and theology
- Supervise Master of Arts theses within the field of systematic theology
- Collaborate with students and faculty from various departments
- Teach Systematic Theology courses for different groups of students
- Conduct courses in a variety of formats including in-person, virtual, or hybrid
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Practicing Roman Catholic with a doctorate in systematic, dogmatic, or fundamental theology
- Specialization in science and theology
- Eligibility for ecclesiastical mandatum from the Archbishop of Newark
- Prior teaching experience and scholarly publications preferred
- Strong Thomistic background is desirable
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Teaching experience in Spanish
- Ability to teach diaconal candidates
- Permission from Ordinary for qualified Catholic priests to apply
