The Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance invites applications for a full-time, one-year term non-renewable, non-tenure-eligible position in voice beginning in August 2025. This position is intended to support the instructional needs of the voice area during the 2025–2026 academic year.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach applied voice (studio instruction)
• Teach Studio Repertoire Performance Class
• Support departmental activities related to recruitment, performance preparation, and student mentoring
• Participate in area and school-wide meetings and contribute to the culture and mission of the School
• Engage in ongoing professional activity as a performer, teacher, and/or scholar

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in voice performance or pedagogy (or equivalent professional experience)
• Demonstrated success as a vocal pedagogue and artist
• Evidence of effective and inclusive teaching practices

Special consideration will be afforded to those candidates with:

• A Doctoral degree in voice or a related field
• A record of College-level teaching experience and excellence
• Experience mentoring students in classical or musical theatre vocal performance
• Ability to support students across a range of musical styles and career goals.
