What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Train, schedule, and provide leadership to a diverse staff
- Maintain a safe and cooperative work environment
- Monitor staff training and compliance with support documents
- Collaborate with the Program Manager on financial oversight and program budgeting
- Foster positive relationships with community agencies, families, and guardians
What is Required (Qualifications):
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field
- Familiarity with medication usage and side effects
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs and push or pull in excess of 50 lbs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a supervisory role within a residential care setting
- Knowledge of incident response protocols and resolution strategies
- Experience developing positive relationships with community and governmental agencies
