What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Train, schedule, and provide leadership to a diverse staff in a residential group home
- Maintain a work environment that emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and safety
- Monitor staff training and documentation related to client support
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to manage finances and program budget
- Interact with individuals served in a respectful and empowering manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field
- Familiarity with medication usage and side effects
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs and push or pull in excess of 50 lbs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in addressing conflicts and facilitating resolution among staff
- Knowledge of community and governmental agency relationships
- Ability to model professional and positive relationships in the workplace
